If you love Mexican food, as I do
This might be a useful recipe for you. It’s cheap, it makes a TON of homemade taco seasoning and you its healthy (no salt!)
So …. erm, here it is:
Homemade Taco Seasoning
Ingredients
(1 servings)
6 ts Chili Powder
5 ts Paprika
4 1/2 ts Cumin
3 ts Onion Powder
2 1/2 ts Garlic Powder
1/8 ts Cayenne Pepper
Instructions
In storage container with tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients; mix well. Seal tightly. Store in cool, dry place for up to 6 months. I use like two tbs at a time and see how I like the flavour. If its too strong, I add more. If by chance, you add too much (which is what I did the first time LOL) , do not panic, just put your meat into a colander and run water through it to weaken the amount of seasoning in it (haha). I like to store mine in a glass jar.
